NUP :: Nano and Ultrafast Photonics

The Nano and Ultrafast Photonics Laboratory was established in 2001 by Dr. David Citrin. Our work focuses on the theory and simulation of novel materials, structures, and devices for applications in photonics and electronics. This includes enabling technologies at the intersection of the ultrafast and the ultrasmall where quantum effects may dominate and provide for functionality not available with conventional approaches.
