INTERSECT2019: THE NEW ENERGY ECOSYSTEM
INTERSECT 2019 is a non-transferable, invitation-only, executive-level, energy conference that will facilitate discussions around the most substantive challenges facing our nation’s energy system through technological, financial and policy-based considerations. This year’s theme, The New Energy Ecosystem, will explore how the nation’s energy system and functions- including suppliers, customers, markets, expertise- are evolving. The drivers are manifold- growing convergence of electricity and transportation markets, the increasing presence of software and IT companies in the energy space, cybersecurity concerns, and the growing presence of distributed energy generation alongside dramatic increases in hydrocarbon resources.
INTERSECT 2019 will explore how the underlying ecosystem that power these energy systems are evolving. What will the energy company of the future look like? What platforms will deliver energy services? Who will reap the benefits of this transformation and how will they be distributed? What other opportunities and challenges will arise in this new ecosystem?
Through two days of interactive keynote presentations, moderated panels, and audience engagement, INTERSECT 2019 will provide a platform to discuss these questions and analyze the dynamics of our nation’s future energy ecosystem. This year will feature keynotes and speakers ranging from former EIA Senior Market Analyst Charles Whitmore, Chairman of GE Gas Power John Rice, Former Deputy Secretary of Energy Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall, former Assistant Secretary and Vice Admiral of the US Navy Dennis McGinnis and Founder & CEO of Advanced MicroGrid Solutions Susan Kennedy.
Register right away to get energized with us all at INTERSECT 2019! We look forward to seeing you soon!
