Eligible Participants: Rising 9th through 12th grade students (25 spots) and STEM educators (5 spots, stipends available)
Camp hours: 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Student Drop-off : 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Student Pick-up: 3:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m

Program Overview: NASA IMEET Summer camp is geared towards cultivating Engineering Design, 3D printing, Robotics and Project Management related skills in the future engineers, by helping them learn the topics in interactive and hands-on way. First week will involve learning the Dassault Systemes CAD software “CATIA” to design and 3D print their own parts. Also, students will learn how to build and program LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robots. Students will also learn how to fly drones. The second week will allow students to participate in the team competition, in which the students will be challenged to design custom components for their LEGO rovers and drones and complete a futuristic mission on Mars. Engineers from Georgia Tech will mentor the teams.
