Geekapalooza started in in 2010 when some Georgia Tech faculty teamed up with the Georgia Tech finalists from the National College Comedy Competition sponsored by TBS and Rooftop comedy. The competition is no more, but Georgia Tech students, faculty and alumni are still doing stand-up comedy and proving that nerds can be funny and not just funny looking.
