The research of our lab is focused on the study of
- The interactions of ultrasound with single and multiple cells and cell types.
- Ultrasound mediated transport of molecules and pharmaceuticals across cellular and vascular barriers.
- Microbubble dynamics in vessels and tissues.
To facilitate our research we develop and integrate multi-modality and multi-scale systems with in vitro, in vivo and in silico models. We envision that such methods and technologies will allow us to study and understand biological systems in a completely different way, resulting in new concepts, tools and methods to treat cancer and central nervous system diseases and disorders.
